Overview

The Textile Technology associate programme at Batman University trains qualified technical staff for the textile and ready-to-wear sector. The two-year programme covers textile fibres, yarn production, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing, textile testing, quality control and production processes. It emphasises efficient use of production technologies, quality standards, sustainable production and occupational safety. Students also develop problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills. Graduates can work in textile production, design, planning and management roles, or set up their own workshops or businesses.

Admission Requirements: Admission through the national TYT exam with ÖSYM central placement. 20 places; lowest placement score 246.8 (success rank 1,544,150).

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
