The Economics programme combines technical economics training with a broad undergraduate education. It gives students a grounding in modern economic theory and the critical, independent thinking needed to understand the Turkish and world economies.
The first two years cover the social science and quantitative tools shared by all economists. Later, students choose electives in fields such as academic economics, macroeconomics including monetary and international economics, microeconomics, and managerial economics, and take free electives to become well-rounded graduates.
