The five-year Pharmacy programme in the Faculty of Pharmacy is taught in Turkish. It aims to train pharmacists who fulfil their responsibilities to society in health services, meet international standards in the pharmaceutical field and are able to apply knowledge in the drug industry. The programme covers the whole chain from drug production to consumption and the monitoring of drug effects on individuals, with research conducted to improve public health.
The aims emphasise the use of quality, effective and safe medicines in diagnosis, treatment and prevention, together with ethical principles and lifelong learning. The faculty was established on 4 January 2012 in Erzincan. Graduates who complete the programme receive the title Eczacı.

Admission Requirements: Central placement through ÖSYM with the SAY score type; 54 places; lowest placement score 466.6 (success rank 47,962); minimum success rank 100,000 required for this programme. Candidates need a high school diploma and a SAY-type placement result.

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
