Overview

The Economics and Finance programme at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University is a four-year bachelor's degree taught in Turkish at the Fethiye Faculty of Business. It addresses current economic and financial issues and aims to combine theoretical knowledge with sectoral practice. Graduates are trained for both the public and private sectors, and the department works with bodies such as the Treasury and Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. Graduates earn the Ekonomi ve Finans lisans degree after completing compulsory and elective courses equivalent to 240 ECTS with a weighted average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00. The programme has no internship. Graduates may enter graduate programmes after an ALES score and sufficient English.

Admission Requirements: ÖSYM central placement under the EA score type; 40 places in the 2026 guide; lowest placement score 298.5 (success rank 374,019). Admission requires a sufficient score in the ÖSYM YKS examination.

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
