Overview

The Construction Technology associate programme at Siirt's Vocational School of Technical Sciences has been running since 2009 and is a two-year course taught in Turkish with an internship. It trains construction technicians for the production and after-sales service stages of the construction sector. Graduates act as intermediate staff between engineers and workers, able to use current technology and drawing standards. The programme covers materials, production techniques, construction drawings and site practice. Completion of the course and the internship is required. Graduates receive the title İnşaat Teknikeri and may start their own workplaces.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission through the national YKS exam with ÖSYM central placement, using the TYT score type. The 2026 guide lists 45 places and a lowest placement score of 254.6 (success rank 1,434,157). The Bologna page lists a quota of 40.

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
