— it helps other students.
Both the ideas and the working methods of accounting and finance are covered, starting with how to read and make sense of financial statements and extending to placing a value on companies and reaching well-judged decisions. The programme runs at ARU London, with full-time and part-time attendance available.
A further strand looks at the rules governing accounting practice and the obligations they place on organisations. Learning is applied through projects, case studies, simulations and other activity-based tasks. At each stage students also build their capacity for critical thinking, clear communication and leading others.
Those who graduate are suited to work in investment banking, managing risk, analysing finances or consulting. The teamwork and problem-solving abilities developed along the way transfer readily to other occupations.
