Hammond School in Chester hosts this degree, which trains performers across the three strands of musical theatre: voice, acting and dance. Written and critical study sits beside studio sessions, so performers learn to analyse and defend the decisions behind their own creative output. The intention is to develop inventive, capable and employable artists whose imagination travels across the wider performing arts. Former students find careers in theatre and television, along with related areas of the profession. Study lasts three years on a full-time basis, with the next intake joining in September 2027.
