AA/AS in Culinary Arts and Related Services

The Culinary Arts associate degree is built for students who dream of becoming chefs and want training in every part of food service. Faculty guide learners through modern kitchens where they develop practical cooking technique. Students also rotate through restaurant roles at the campus Cafe Culinaire, running an international buffet during winter quarter and a full a la carte dining room in spring. This exposure covers positions from the line to management and front of house. The program is accredited by the American Culinary Federation Foundation, and BTC reports placement and wage data for graduates. The program page at Bellingham Technical College is split into several tabs, so readers can move between a summary, admission details, the course list, graduate results, job prospects and staff contacts. Prospective students can work through those sections to understand admission steps, course sequence and career prospects before deciding whether to apply, and can reach out to staff with questions.
