The four-year program leads to the Doctor of Medicine at the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Candidates apply through the national medical school application service, AMCAS, during a window that runs through the early part of November.
Applicants are expected to hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the United States or Canada. Those whose degrees come from other institutions may be considered if they completed two years at an accredited North American school, including all prerequisites, and bring their records to the attention of the admissions committee.
Students currently enrolled in a professional or graduate program must be in their terminal year to be considered. The school has no places for advanced standing in the second or third years, and anyone who has previously matriculated at another medical school is not eligible.
