AA/AS in Communication and Media Studies

Bristol's communication offering introduces students to how people exchange meaning and how mass and emerging media shape a varied world. Learners build critical thinking about media alongside practical speaking and writing skills. The course of study works as a launch pad into bachelor's-level communication programs at other colleges. Afterward, graduates can head toward careers such as journalism or media production, and the program suits both those who know their goal and those still exploring. Students may use MassTransfer and the college's agreements with public and private institutions across Massachusetts and Rhode Island to move on with less cost and fuss. The program chair is available for questions.
