BA/BS in Criminal Justice and Corrections

This bachelor of arts prepares students for careers in law and law enforcement at local, state, or federal levels. It takes an outlook that values preventing harm and restoring people. Study is organized around statutes, the justice system, and the people and institutions that connect the two, with courses on criminal law, cybercrime, policing, and counterterrorism. Students can add a minor, extra cybersecurity training, and a capstone internship. Teaching throughout is shaped by a biblical worldview, and professors pay close personal attention to each learner. Because enrollment per course stays modest, students get to know their instructors well. Electives and minors let each person tailor the major toward a particular vocation, calling, or area of graduate study after commencement. The result is a degree that blends academic preparation with spiritual growth, intended to serve graduates well in their work, their churches, and their communities.
