BA/BS in Management Information Systems and Services

Information Systems centers on using information technology, meaning computers and telecom networks, in service of managerial decisions and corporate strategy. It also covers the operational technology an organization needs to function day to day. The bachelor's degree sits inside CSUN's business college, so Information Systems students count as business majors and share that college's common lower and upper division core with other majors. Several college rules apply. Double majors must be in good standing and finish within a maximum unit total. Transfer students cannot use grades below C from other institutions toward department or college requirements. At least half of the business and economics units, and half of the specialized major units, must be earned on the CSUN campus.
