Overview

The systems and control engineering doctorate at Case Western Reserve University centers on industry-relevant research into real-time signal processing, systems biology and nonlinear control, carried out across a dozen research labs. Students build on a systems and control foundation by specializing in a subfield, for example bioinformatics or database mining. The program stays small deliberately so that students get individualized attention along with access to modern equipment and faculty mentors in connected devices, wearables and related areas.
