AA/AS in Chemistry

The Chemistry Transfer Pathway at Central Lakes College introduces students to the study of matter, reactions and the materials behind medicines and modern products. The program is listed for the Brainerd campus and online, and it relies on laboratory experiments and interactive coursework. Along the way students strengthen problem solving, scientific reasoning and communication, and they gain confidence working in a lab. These skills support continued study at a four-year university. Graduates are prepared for transfer into chemistry-related majors and for later work in research, pharmaceuticals, environmental science and healthcare. The pathway also provides a base for students aiming at medical school, pharmacy school or graduate science programs.
