Cert in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management

Organizations lean on a dependable support person whenever computers fail, and this one-year technical diploma trains students for that role. Alongside technical content, learners practice the interpersonal habits needed to assist coworkers and outside customers with patience and clarity. Coursework teaches how to set up hardware and software, adjust and diagnose problems with devices and their operating systems, grasp core networking ideas, work with newer technology, fix workstations and complete upgrades. The diploma totals 26 credits and is delivered face to face at the Eau Claire campus, with a January start. People finishing it look toward jobs like help desk specialist or IT support technician. Those with relevant earlier schooling or work history can ask the college about credit for prior learning.
