The Bachelor of Social Work is offered through CSU's School of Social Work in the College of Health and Human Sciences. It trains students to advance social, environmental and economic justice and to support health and well-being, preparing them for roles across healthcare, business and education.
Students complete an internship that gives them direct experience supporting individuals, families and communities. Accreditation comes from the Council on Social Work Education, and it qualifies graduates for advanced standing in MSW programs and for licensure pathways.
Concentrations include Addictions Counseling, which satisfies course requirements toward Colorado's Certified Addiction Technician credential. The major runs on campus and online, and an accelerated route exists for some concentrations. Prospective students can find campus tour and information session options through Admissions, which are offered at various points during the year, and can contact the relevant college recruiter for further guidance.
