BA/BS in Data Analytics

The data analytics major prepares Christian leaders to make data-driven decisions that improve how organizations perform. Students learn to understand and generate data, and apply those skills to areas of business such as marketing, finance, economics and human resources. Study covers database design, administration and implementation, models for effective decision making, organizational behavior and change management, as well as presenting analyses clearly in writing and speech. The program also covers Christian ethics as they apply to business intelligence. The university's AI and Quantum Innovation Lab links faculty experts and student talent so that industry and community partners can test out practical ideas. Careers include market research analyst, financial analyst and data and analytics manager. Students graduate able to explain their findings clearly, weigh organizational behavior and change, and use ethical judgment when handling the information that businesses rely on.
