BA/BS in Computer Science

Creighton offers computer science as either a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts. Both prepare graduates for work as software engineers, web designers, game developers, systems analysts, database managers or network administrators. The science degree targets students who want to enter digital development or computing directly after college and covers software development, industry-standard tools, writing and graphic design. The arts degree requires fewer courses and gives more room for electives, which suits students pairing computing with another major. Internships and undergraduate research are available. Beyond the university core, the science track includes 44 credits of computer science and the arts track 38.
