PhD in Business Administration, Management and Operations

The Doctorate in Business Administration is a three-year program for experienced professionals who want to reach the top of their field. It is intended for working people who already hold a master's degree in business or a related discipline and bring substantial managerial or consultative experience. Candidates practice turning messy business problems into questions that can be studied with data and evidence, and they learn to test possible solutions carefully. A central feature is the close working relationship with research-active faculty from the Driehaus College of Business and the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, who mentor students in data analysis and business intelligence methods. Students progress as a cohort of about fifteen people. The small group format is meant to create a strong network of motivated peers who support one another during the program and after graduation.
