PhD in Educational Administration and Supervision

This doctoral program has three concentrations: General, Higher Education, and one focused on Catholic education worldwide. It also offers licensure and endorsement options, covering superintendent, teacher leader and principal credentials. The General concentration builds a knowledge base for analyzing administrative practice and encouraging fair-minded leadership in schools and other education-focused organizations. It links theory with practice and does not rest on conventional assumptions about practitioners and theorists. Students may attend full time or part time, and graduates may begin a new career or deepen their current one. The program is offered through DePaul University, and its catalog entry sets out the required courses, learning outcomes and application steps. Prospective students should review that page and speak with an advisor to plan how the degree fits their goals and prior coursework.
