MA/MS in Social Work

Eastern's online Master of Social Work prepares advanced generalist practitioners who bring knowledge, skill and compassion to many kinds of social work. The program is accredited and delivered entirely online, though internship placements take place in person near the student. Coursework proceeds at the student's own pace within guided deadlines inside seven-week terms, and live online sessions are required only during internships. The traditional track runs two years, while qualifying graduates of an accredited bachelor's program in social work may complete an advanced standing track in one year. Terms start in August, January and May. A per-credit tuition and fee rate is published, along with totals for both tracks. Students can pursue the work from home while completing field education in their own region.
