BA/BS in Chemistry

The Chemistry program introduces students to chemical concepts, processes and systems using modern technology and hands-on techniques. Instruction covers organic chemistry, calculus, engineering physics and quantitative analysis. A pre-med track combines biology, chemistry and physics with advanced chemistry coursework to prepare students for the MCAT and medical school applications, with opportunities for medical internships, mission trips and volunteer rotations. Minors and concentrations are also available. The department encourages students to connect faith and science as they prepare for a range of science-related careers. Prospective students can ask the admissions team for details about enrollment, request information through the university website, or apply online. Evangel University is a Christian institution, so the program is taught within a faith-centered community where learning and personal calling are expected to inform one another.
