Evangel University's Graphic Design major trains students to work in the visual communication field using current technology. Instruction is hands-on, led by art faculty with professional experience.
Coursework covers the history of modern art, three-dimensional design, printmaking and computer technology. Students also build skills in page layout, grid systems, language and communication, and the software used in the design marketplace.
The degree is offered as either a BFA or a BA, and students are encouraged to bring a Christian worldview to their creative vocation. Fine Arts scholarships are available to those who qualify. The program sits within the Humanities Department and provides a major plan, a minor plan and published learning outcomes. Interested students can submit a request-for-information form so the admissions team follows up, call the university directly, or start an application through the program page.
