AA/AS in Biological and Physical Sciences

Natural Science is an associate degree for students curious in science who have not yet chosen a specific field. It can also supply preparatory work for those who need to strengthen fundamentals. In the first year, students complete general education common to all college degrees and pick math, biology, chemistry, physics and other science courses. The second year continues with similar choices to help students find a career focus. The coursework is very flexible, and advisors help plan a sequence that fits each student's interests and needs. Transfer students are reviewed on overall GPA. The program is administered through the Department of Biological Sciences and is well suited to students who want to keep their options open before choosing a major. The program is based at the Main Campus of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.
