BA/BS in Psychology, General

Psychology is a bachelor's major awarded as a BA or BS in the College of Arts and Sciences. It applies scientific methods to understand, describe, predict and influence behavior, with human and animal behavior as two broad areas of specialisation. The program gives a wide background across the discipline and is flexible enough for advanced students to focus on their strongest interest. Students can join the Honors Program, work-study, a London-based summer course plus the Psi Chi honor society, and they are encouraged to work in the department's research laboratories. Instruction is in person at both the Tallahassee and Panama City campuses, and the program is not offered online. Transfer applicants can ask Arts and Sciences admissions about course mapping.
