BA/BS in Accounting and Related Services

Accounting at James Madison University is taught by the School of Accounting inside the College of Business and awards a Bachelor of Business Administration. The college's AACSB accreditation covers both its business and its accounting programs. The school also grants a Master of Science in Accounting. Because many states ask CPA candidates to have 150 semester hours of study, most students pursue the bachelor's and the master's together. Employers across the mid-Atlantic region treat the school as a leading source of new hires, and it has built a reputation nationwide. The program page outlines what sets the program apart and links to degree requirements, experience-building options, and career exploration material.
