This apprenticeship lets people work and learn together: apprentices hold paying jobs, train under skilled professionals at an employer and take classes at the Norfolk campus. Apprentices develop drafting and 3D modeling abilities, learn to read, interpret and create professional engineering drawings, handle deadlines and files, and practice communicating and collaborating on projects. Classroom subjects begin with drafting fundamentals. Finishers are awarded a national apprenticeship credential plus a diploma in CADD Technology.
