Program details

Overview

Production equipment needs technicians who can keep it running, and this associate degree trains them. Students learn to maintain and fix automated machinery, wiring, sensors and drive systems, and they collaborate with engineers when new systems are installed and tested. Technicians in the field also construct mock-ups of production machinery. Credits from related certificates offered by the college apply fully to the degree. Learners follow a study plan organized by semester. Lab activities are done at the Engineering Technology Center, which opens at varied hours so that working students can fit in practice time. The program can be taken at the Green Bay and Marinette locations. Applicants are encouraged to contact admissions advisors, who explain each step of the process and help new students feel prepared.
