BA/BS in Engineering Science

This honors program draws on several disciplines and builds a deeper understanding of how engineering, science, and mathematics fit together. It gives students a wide grounding in the sciences behind engineering, then lets them develop depth through technical electives and undergraduate research. The degree appeals to students who want to connect science with biomedical, civil, chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering, and who want a curriculum they can tailor. It also satisfies all Schreyer Honors College requirements automatically. Students enter the major after 29 to 55 graded Penn State credits, at least a C in several introductory courses, and a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.00.
