BA/BS in Business Administration, Management and Operations

This business administration degree, concentrating in management, blends professional application with intellectual knowledge. Students study how management affects the workplace and how entrepreneurial principles work in new ventures and established companies, while learning leadership and adaptation to changing organizations. Management is treated broadly: students may focus on leading people through human resources courses, or on running processes through operations courses. The university's alignment with the main HR professional society allows final-year students in a human resources program to sit for its certified professional exam. A 4+1 option leads to an M.B.A. with one extra year, and some students may qualify for early admission to law school. Graduates work in HR, sales management, training, nonprofit management, labor relations and banking. The degree is offered on campus in the Rockwell School of Business.
