AA/AS in Business/Commerce, General

Business at Shasta College offers a starting point for careers across many fields, with a focus on leadership skills and professional growth. The program spans several awards, including an associate degree, a transfer degree, a university studies degree, a general studies degree, and certificates. The Business Administration emphasis supplies the lower-division core that most universities require before a baccalaureate in that subject. Other options let students explore many business areas, from accounting and business law to real estate and hospitality, or prepare for management, retail, entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance roles. A small business certificate gives students the footing to start building their own enterprise. Program maps outline the course order, and counselors help each student assemble an official education plan. Students should pick the award that fits their goals, whether entering the workforce or transferring.
