BA/BS in Theological and Ministerial Studies

This on-campus theology major supports students who want to deepen their understanding of faith and explore it personally. The program fosters analytical habits, anti-racist practice, feminist perspectives, and caring service. The curriculum ranges across scripture, the history of theology, ethics, feminist perspectives, and modern religious ideas. Faculty strengths range from ethics and poetry to Jewish history, ecology, and women's spirituality, which creates an inclusive setting for many theological traditions. Students prepare to handle the difficult questions that faith, ethics, and theology raise today. The program welcomes learners who are seeking both intellectual rigor and spiritual exploration. Prospective students can arrange a campus visit, request a transfer credit evaluation, and talk with an admission counselor at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota before deciding whether the program fits their goals.
