BA/BS in Marketing

The marketing program leads to a B.S. at St. John Fisher University and combines business foundations with specialist study of how companies reach customers. Coursework covers buyer behavior, ways of gathering and analyzing market information, and communicating with and building relationships with customers. Students take accounting, finance and management alongside marketing, add a globalization course on international business, and choose marketing electives. Advertising and public relations classes come from the Media and Communication Department, and courses on internet marketing and supply chain systems address changing market trends. Some of the liberal arts and sciences courses in the major may also satisfy Core requirements, which can lighten the overall course load. Graduates move into entry-level roles in sales, brand management and marketing.
