MA/MS in Computer Science

This master's degree in computer science trains students to oversee a software project, from early analysis and design through implementation, testing and maintenance, including quality, budgets, deliverables and deadlines. Students gain a thorough grasp of computer hardware and software, covering data communication, databases, operating systems, design methodologies and testing. The degree is 33 credit hours over 11 courses, and students choose a six-hour thesis or a three-hour project. Classes are available in person and online, and a combined bachelor's and master's option lets undergraduates begin graduate work early. Courses are taught by faculty who emphasise applied practice alongside theory, and the degree is designed to advance careers or prepare students for further study. Applicants can request information or apply through the university website, and the program office can explain the formats, schedules and requirements that apply.
