This two-year associate degree at the Morrisville campus trains students for technical farm work and for jobs that support the agricultural industry. Students choose among concentrations in fundamental science, agronomy, technology and agriculture education, so the course load can follow a particular interest.
Every concentration includes practical courses, for example soil science, precision farming, and the growing of field crops. Beyond the classroom, students take part in applied projects, one example being a worm composting effort that cuts down on organic waste generated on campus. The program is eligible for Reconnect, and it totals roughly 60 credit hours of in-person study.
