Overview
Biomedical engineering at Union brings together engineering and the life sciences. Students study living systems and learn how devices and materials are applied in medicine.
A summer option places students at Albany Medical College, where they can observe doctors working through clinical problems. On campus, the program culminates in a senior capstone that spans two terms and asks students to design their own solutions.
The major is offered within the Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering, and a minor is also available.
