MA/MS in Dance

The Dance MFA is conferred by the Graduate College and offers an emphasis in either choreography or performance. It is designed for artists who want advanced creative and professional training. Admission includes interviews. An early admission deadline opens the process, after which applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Invited applicants take part in virtual interviews, and they may arrange a campus visit and sit in on classes. Applicants are encouraged to submit materials ahead of the February interview round. The admission season closes in mid-April. Applications are made online in two stages: the Graduate College form with its fee comes first, and supporting documents are then uploaded to the applicant's personal admissions profile. Recommenders are emailed instructions for submitting their letters electronically.
