PGCert in Data Science

Professionals who want practical skills for working with large data sets can use this short graduate credential offered by the biostatistics and data science department. It covers statistical and computational approaches to collecting, refining, analyzing and presenting data. The aim is for students to use standard statistical methods in their everyday jobs, so entrants need a working grasp of statistical theory and practice and some experience applying it in their own field. Applications are completed online, and new students can begin in the fall, spring or summer. Admission requires a bachelor's degree conferred by an accredited institution, with a minimum undergraduate grade average, and an official transcript.
