MA/MS in Chemical Engineering

The chemical engineering graduate offering at USF is organized around thermodynamics, reacting systems, transport phenomena and systems engineering, with a characterization component. These topics are studied in fundamental form and in applied settings tied to biomedical, microelectronic materials and environmental fields. Faculty collaborate with the College of Medicine, the Center of Microelectronic Research and several other engineering and science departments, which gives most majors in the department an interdisciplinary character. A bachelor's and master's pathway is available for current undergraduates. Applicants should read the catalog entry for degree requirements, admission standards and contacts before applying. Prospective students should check the current graduate catalog for contacts, deadlines and delivery information, and confirm that the general graduate admission and English proficiency rules of the university are also satisfied before they apply to this major.
