PGCert in Educational Administration and Supervision

This online graduate certificate suits Ohio teachers with a graduate degree in education who want to become a building administrator. Six courses prepare students for an entry-level administrator license in early, middle or secondary grade bands. Students take the courses asynchronously on the web, and the sequence includes extensive fieldwork in schools. Outcomes include shaping a shared vision for learning, managing resources and operations, partnering with families, applying education law and ethics, leading program evaluation, conducting teacher evaluations, using school data for improvement and reflecting on leadership theory. Study may be full or part time. Toledo delivers this program through its online division, which promises students a full university experience without visiting a campus. Prospective students can ask the online admissions team for information and review the admission requirements listed on the program page.
