BA/BS in Architectural Sciences and Technology

Architectural Design is a pre-professional Bachelor of Arts that prepares students for a Master of Architecture, the route to licensure as an architect. Admission is at the junior level through a competitive process. The program includes six quarters of design studios along with building technologies and architectural theory, and a dual degree with Construction Management is available. Students apply to the department as a separate step, and finishing the prerequisites alone does not secure a place. Incoming first-year applicants from the United States may start in autumn or winter, and transfer applicants need a general UW application before applying to the major.
