AA/AS in Marketing

Businesses rely on marketing to design, promote and deliver what they sell. This practical degree provides wide exposure to business fundamentals and marketing principles, and it develops abilities in advertising, customer service, communication, selling and strategy. The curriculum totals 63 credits over two years and leads to an associate of applied science degree. Students may start in August, January or June. Coursework also examines present-day developments in digital marketing and experiential marketing, including the technology involved. Daytime classes are arranged in eight-week blocks, and students need a PC. Because the sessions are compact, students complete a good number of courses in a single academic year while building a base across all areas of the field. The online application carries a $30 fee.
