Cert in Sustainability Studies

This short graduate-level program is designed for professionals who want to build sustainable practice into the work of their organizations. It is taught entirely online and can earn undergraduate, graduate or continuing education credit. The certificate is made up of four courses of three credits each, taught in an accelerated format. Participants learn to develop initiatives ready for implementation in their own field, which makes the program relevant for people in areas such as finance, engineering, healthcare, human resources and real estate. Wilkes is a recognized education partner of a professional society for sustainability, and finishing the program prepares students to take that society's exams. Students who are also interested in business study may substitute selected MBA courses, and the certificate links into a stackable path toward the full MBA.
