Cert in International Relations and National Security Studies

This undergraduate certificate at Wright State introduces students to the security systems of the United States and of the wider world. It also surveys the range of dangers that exist now, might arise, or are only beginning to appear, whether they originate at home or abroad. Coursework puts weight on solving problems, communicating clearly, and understanding people from other cultures. Students practice evaluating these threats with a critical eye and then shaping policy responses that fit them. The focus is analytical rather than technical. The credential is offered as an undergraduate certificate, which makes it a compact addition for students who are pursuing another course of study or who want focused preparation in national security topics. The program page includes links to request information, explore financial aid, and apply, so those who are interested can reach the university directly and find out how to enroll in the certificate.
