AA/AS in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities

The Beeghly College offers this general associate-level degree. It combines general education courses, a concentration in the natural sciences, humanities or social sciences, and electives. Students pick one concentration area and complete courses recognized for transfer across public institutions in Ohio. The degree can increase earning potential, complete the Ohio transfer module, serve as a stepping stone toward a bachelor's degree, or recognize courses already taken. All general education courses must be approved for transfer in Ohio. Advising staff in the college can answer questions. The last portion of credits and part of the concentration must be completed at the university. The associate degree can stand alone or be the first stage of a four-year plan, and advisers help students choose a concentration that suits them.
