Program details

Overview

This degree is the second half of a two-plus-two plan in the civil and construction technology field. After the associate degree, students may enter industry or complete the bachelor's through added full-time study or equivalent part-time study. The program is directed by a coordinator who can be reached by phone. The extra coursework develops students toward engineer or engineering designer roles. Graduates are hired by public agencies, engineering and architecture consultancies, manufacturers and contractors. Their broader education prepares them for more responsibility and faster advancement, including design, planning, inspection and direction of construction and maintenance activities. The curriculum sheet and program coordinator can help students plan how their associate-level courses fit into the bachelor's degree.
