MA/MS in Engineering, General

The Rayen School of Engineering offers this master's degree for practicing engineers and for students seeking advanced study and research. Available areas are chemical, civil and environmental, electrical and computer, industrial and systems, and mechanical engineering. Faculty directors oversee each discipline area, and their contact details appear on the program page. Students may select a thesis, non-thesis, management, internship or 4+1 plan. Admission is selective and weighs the applicant's record, program needs and available funding. Applicants with weaker records may receive provisional status after review of their records, test results and work experience. Highly qualified applicants may be offered a graduate assistantship. Students should consult the relevant program director to learn how each plan works in their engineering discipline.
