BA/BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technologies/Technicians

This bachelor's program builds on the associate degree through a two-plus-two plan. Students concentrate on electronics in analog and digital form, communication systems, computer networking and the smart grid with power distribution. The program also lists educational objectives developed with an industrial advisory committee. Co-op arrangements with local companies give students experience and income as juniors and seniors. Many work while studying in the evening, and students are urged to sit for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, which begins the path to professional registration. Graduates are ready to help design and test electrical systems and may work independently in some areas. Graduates who enter industry or continue to a Master of Engineering or business program are among the paths the program describes.
