PhD in Educational Administration and Supervision

This doctoral program prepares leaders for public and nonpublic schools, plus health and human service agencies and other environments. Professionals in leadership roles outside education may be considered, depending on cohort availability. Graduates work as administrators in schools and in other organizations that need research-informed leaders. Health professionals who lack a terminal degree in their own field are welcomed. Emphasis falls on efficiency, equity and excellence, and on skills in research-minded scholarship, instruction, management, outreach and personal growth. The program is fully online and includes a specialized track in Higher Education. Students move through cohorts and are expected to stay enrolled, since missed core courses return only in the regular rotation. Applicants should expect a cohort model and an online format designed for working professionals in leadership roles.
