PGCert in Educational Administration and Supervision

This post-master's licensure sequence is for candidates seeking an Ohio administrative license. Candidates need to be currently pursuing, or to have finished, the master's degree in Educational Administration. Licensure options cover elementary, middle and secondary principal levels. Before starting licensure coursework, candidates provide a current resume plus written support from a licensed administrator where they work. That administrator attests to the candidate's skills and leadership potential and agrees to supervise the clinical work. The principal license component covers elementary, middle school and secondary levels. The program is directed by the educational administration faculty. Coursework is open to those already working in schools, and the director can advise on how the licensure fits with the master's degree.
